The Voladero International Film and Video Festival and Mundo DeaDeveras are calling upon children all over the world ages 6 to 15, to participate in the firs CINE DeaDeveras Film Festival of short films for children made by children.

Rules:

1. Mexican and International projects made by children ages 6 to 15 are called to participate. Group projects are accepted but they must be registered by one representative. All group members must be 6 to 15 years of age. All registrations must be signed by an adult parent or guardian.

2. Films can be projected in 35mm, 16mm, Mini-DV, DVD or VHS.

3. Films must be under 30 minutes in lenght.

4. Each participant may register more than one project, but projects must be registered individually, filling a separate registration form for each film.

5. To register a short film, participants must send a copy in VHS or DVD, 3 production stills, and the registration form that can be downloaded from this site. Please fill it on line and then PRINT IT. The Application form can be found here.. Registration materials will not be returned.

6. Registration materials must be delivered to the festival office at:

7. DEADLINE for entries is May 31 2004.

8. There will be 3 awards given to the best three films of the festival. Winning films will be selected by a jury of children.

9. The Voladero International Film and Video Festival and Mundo DeaDeveras withhold the right to use segments from films for promotional purposes.

NOTE: International entries must be marked "NO COMMERCIAL VALUE / SIN VALOR COMERCIAL" and declare a maximum customs value of $5.00 U.S. dollares. All registration materials that cause import taxes will not be redeemed.
